d:CON 4_07 WORMHOLE

The concept of Wormhole was inspired by the installation A Slice of Space Times, which is a theoretical passage through space-time that could create shortcuts for long journeys across the universe.
According to the article written by Nola Taylor Redd, Space.com Contributor, meanwhile in 1935, Einstein and physicist Nathan Rosen used the theory of general relativity to elaborate on the idea, proposing the existence of "bridges" through space-time. These bridges connect two different points in space-time, theoretically creating a shortcut that could reduce travel time and distance. The shortcuts came to be called Einstein-Rosen bridges, or wormholes.
The keywords "Linear", "Warped space time", and the "Fabric of space" was inspired by the concept of Wormhole. At the same time, the program proposed was Drive-Thru Gallery, which located at the beginning of Papan Main Street.

Problem Statement:
1. Road as the site, the proposed building might block the traffic circulation.
2. Neighborhood - Existing building might be disturbed.
3. Lack of proper multipurpose space to carry out activities, such as exhibition, sales and festival celebration.
Design Solution :
1. Elevated the building to let the passenger underneath see though the gallery.
2. Proposed structure location should not disturb daily activities of neighborhood.
3. Proposed drive thru gallery and provide multipurpose space at the same time.
